The first generation of the KLX250 D-Tracker, a 249 cc four-valve liquid-cooled single built on 17-inch street wheels. It has a supermoto-leaning stance with long suspension travel and a tall seat height, and was aimed at urban and mixed riding rather than pure off-road use. The bike was sold with electric start and a six-speed gearbox.
